Advices for a good show n' tell

Show & Tell can be a very exciting experience for some children but for others, it may become a stressing activity. What to do in order to increase confidence in them?

1. Rehearsal:  Take some time to rehearse with your child. If you can, you can take turns to present the show and tell.
2. Write the presentation: You can use it to read and practice.

Example: 

David: Hello, Good morning!  My name is David and today, I want to tell you about my daily chores.

In the morning, I usually have to make my bed and feed my pet. I have to go to school. In the afternoon, I have to feed my pet and do the dishes. Sometimes I have to clean my room and I always have to do my homework. Thank you for your attention!

The red phrases are the sentences we are using for this unit.
Try to encourage your child to be as calmed and relaxed as possible. If you have further doubts or comments please post them.

Some ideas for posters:      

You can use a piece of thick paper that can be folded like a book. That way, your show and tell information will be protected






Also, you can use letter-sized pieces of thick paper that can be put together by using masking tape.

Make sure your poster is clean and well preserved.
